Elizabeth is an artist new to living and working in the beautiful Banyule area having recently moved to Rosanna in 2021 from the other side of the Yarra. Originally from Sydney, Liz trained at the National Art School, and has continued to develop her practice in Painting and Drawing through a residency in France, and participation in national art competitions and various group and solo shows – whilst raising a family! While her training is grounded in tradition and the development of skills working from observation, her studio work includes original paintings and drawings sourced directly from the imagination. Liz currently teaches in the Visual Art department at Chisholm TAFE.
