Andy’s practice explores the pursuit of the perfect line, where geometry meets rich, organic forms. Influenced by fairy tales, mythology, and Art Deco, his work often features the gothic silhouettes of twisting trees. Andy is drawn to the tension between precision and spontaneity, using a range of mark-making tools—particularly silver point, whose subtle unpredictability he finds especially compelling. This interplay of control and natural variation lies at the heart of his artistic process.
