Thanks to everyone who attended the BOS Group Exhibition at ILCH in August and September.  A fabulous opening night of creativity and community!  A great taster for all the wonderful artworks you will be able to see very soon now at the Banyule Open Studio’s weekend, October 10th and 11th.

Huge thanks to the over 200 community members who helped the artists celebrate at our program opening this year.  What an evening of friendliness, live music and fantastic discussions!

Thank you to the artists who generously opened their private studios.  Thanks to the visitors who gained an insight into the way artists work and the kinds of art produced in Banyule.  We are a creative community.

The Arts in Banyule, a Rich History

Banyule has a well-known rich artistic heritage from the first nations Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung to the Heidelberg School of artists.  Creative expression continues today with many contemporary artists who live and work within Banyule. Together they create high quality art which includes internationally recognised work.  We welcome you to celebrate local arts production with us.

Applications for the 2026 program are now closed, and we are preparing our studio’s ready for the Open Studio’s weekend in October.
