The Arts in Banyule, a Rich History

Banyule has a well-known rich artistic heritage from the first nations Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung to the Heidelberg School of artists.  Creative expression continues today with many contemporary artists who live and work within Banyule. Together they create high quality art which includes internationally recognised work.  We welcome you to celebrate local arts production with us.

Applications for the 2026 program are now closed, and we are preparing our studio’s ready for the Open Studio’s weekend in October.
