Mim is a ceramic artist and qualified art therapist. Mim’s ceramic artwork is created in limited series and small batches from her light-filled home studio. The studio space provides the freedom to explore, creating pieces that are not just about perfection, but possibility.
Each piece is made by hand from start to finish, allowing inherent differences and striking variation.
Mim creates both functional and decorative ceramics. Her artwork highlights tactility of surface texture often inspired by the rugged Australian landscape and natural geology. Reactionary glazes and gold lustre feature predominantly throughout Mim’s portfolio, deeply entwining glaze chemistry and ceramic design.
