My practice bridges painting and installation, working across both synthetic and natural materials, including foraged earth pigments and plant matter. Through intuitive staining processes, I transform raw materials in ways that embrace chance, experimentation, and material agency. Drawing inspiration from geological formations, organic structures, and environmental systems, I explore themes of ecology, transformation, and interconnectedness. Moving fluidly between abstraction and representation, my work is guided by a deep engagement with the natural world and an interest in the interconnectedness of people, place, and ecology.
