Liz Blanchet is an artist living and working in the beautiful Banyule area. Originally from Sydney, Liz trained at the National Art School, and has continued to develop her practice in painting and drawing through a residency in France and participation in national art competititions and group and solo shows. While her training is grounded in tradition and the development of skills working from observation, her studio work includes original paintings and drawings sourced from the imagination. Liz also teaches visual art and writes curriculum for TAFE.
