Lene is a ceramist who has lived and worked in Banyule for cover 30 years. Lene makes functional pieces on the pottery wheel as well as sculptural works for exhibition. The themes often concern the environment and nature. Lene is also influenced by Scandinavian design traditions and she uses subtle colours and decorations to enhance the shapes. All works are fired to stoneware temperatures in an electric kiln which is partly run by solar electricity.
