Belinda Evans is a Heidelberg based artist working from her converted garage studio. Her practice transforms memories of walking local river walks, and further afield along the coast and walking the Camino in Spain. Utilizing water based mediums including watercolour, ink, pastel, charcoal, and Japanese mounting, Bel looks for ways to bypass analytical thought to capture the vital energy of a place and an experience. Her work focuses on a juxtaposition between our orderly logical side and the creativity found in our experiences of nature and connection with others.
