Betty is an artist who works with oil on canvas. Her paintings reflect the complexities of life as she experiences it. Betty works on several canvases when developing work which allows her to explore the subject matter from multiple angles. This process allows images that emerge to support a narrative as it develops within the work.

This year Betty will be sharing the Banyule Open Studio weekend with fellow artist Eddy Sara. Betty and Eddy met a year ago and discovered they often make art from an approach that defines their individual experiences of some of the complexities within their own lives.
