Karryn is a textile/visual artist working across textiles, sculpture, and assemblage. Her practice explores how emotions and lived experience take shape through materials, with recurring themes of the body, vulnerability, and loss. Recently, she has turned to the politics of sustainability, working with second-life clothing and gifted or found materials in handmade, improvised quilt works.

She works from her home studio, where slow, tactile processes and attention to material histories guide the making of each piece. These works invite viewers to consider care, repair, and the labour embedded within everyday textiles.
