Alongside an earlier career as a military pilot instructor, Vladimir painted, sewed and constructed works of art wherever he was stationed. The availability of equipment and materials was often limited so he learned to be very resourceful.
Deborah works from her studio in Rosanna surrounded by gardens. Her medium is glass, creating warm glass pieces fired in a kiln, such the panels or jewellery, tapestry, murine and sculpture pieces; hot blown glass vessels; or cold glass leadlight or copper foiled panels and sculptures.

The artists and makers at Textile Art Community Art Space (TACAS) create their artworks using household and industrial waste as well as natural materials.
They reclaim and recycle discarded textiles and found objects, and invite the wider community to share in art projects and events.
